If 35 mm SLR and interchangeable lenses for Canon digital cameras?

When using an EF-mount, yes, eye film work (and autofocus) in the current Canon digital SLR cameras. Just something to consider, depending on the model you buy, you can have what is called the factor of culture. Canon XT / XTi / XSi / XS (brand new, recently announced), and the cameras are 20D/30D/40D with a 1.6 x crop factor (the image seems to be extended in 1.6). Therefore, a goal that is 70-300mm lens actually will appear 112-480mm. Canon 5D full frame (no crop factor). These are just some things to keep in mind when using their lenses.
